To buy and sell online, money has to trade hands, electronically of course. These sites may not be secure enough to guarantee that customer’s financial details are inaccessible to third parties. This is what hackers take advantage of and rob shoppers.

Some people do not like shopping online because they view the method as not social. A good number of shoppers consider the exercise to social one, where they can meet up friends and even make new friends as they go about their shopping. Others use it to visit and see new places all over the world, something that does not come with an online shopping cart.

As much as ecommerce has its share of drawbacks, it still remains a darling of many as it has opened a new platform of doing business and the number of people of using is growing with each day.
